14 COST-PUSH INFLATION
(инфляция издержек) Рост товарных цен, вызванный увеличением стоимости вводимых в производство ресурсов (особенно расходов на заработную плату и сырье). В качестве объяснения причин инфляции (inflation) теория инфляции издержек приобрела популярность в 1970х гг., когда высокие темпы инфляции того периода можно было связать с очень резким ростом заработной платы и увеличением цен на нефть. Однако теория инфляции издержек была подвергнута и серьезной критике, так как: (а) она описывает изменения только относительных цен, а не рост цен вообще (который и является определяющим для инфляции) и (б) большинство экономистов в настоящее время соглашается с тем, что рост цен может продолжаться только в том случае, если он сопровождается накачиванием денежной массы (топеу supply) в экономику.Финансы: англо-русский толковый словарь > COST-PUSH INFLATION
